I just opened a new account. How do I deposit money into it?
There are three easy ways to get started:

  1. Transfer money from another Nexity Bank account into your new one.
  2. Mail us a check (please be sure to include your deposit slip). Nexity Bank, PO Box 43600 Birmingham, AL 35243-3600.
  3. Transfer money from another bank via Wire Transfer. More Details

After I send my money to Nexity, how long before I can use it?
We suggest that you allow one business day for wire transfers and two business days for ACH (electronic check). However, if you have Overdraft Protection on your account, you already have access to those funds. You can always check your account balance in real time via Account Access, Telephone Banking (1-877-399-6391), ATM Account Inquiry, or Nexity Customer Service (1-877-738-6391).

Do you accept deposits at ATMs?
No. You may only withdraw money, or perform balance inquiries at ATMs.

What type of deposit will Nexity "not accept"?
Nexity Bank does not accept the following types of deposits: Cash, Counter Checks, Third Party Checks, Money Orders, Travelers Checks, and Credit Card Checks.

I have forgotten my Password. How can I find out what it is?
For your security, Nexity does not have access to your password(s). We can, however, help you create a new password, so that you can have access to your accounts again. If you are having trouble getting into your account, a Customer Service Representative can help you. Please give us a call toll-free at

How can I find out which ATMs I can use?
Nexity ATM and Debit cards are accepted at all national and regional Network Terminals. This includes about 99.7% of all ATMs in the United States and on US military bases overseas.

Can I change my ATM or ATM/Debit card PIN number?
For security reasons, we do not allow you to change your PIN number. If you do not know your PIN, a Customer Service Representative can help you. Please give us a call toll-free at 1-877-738-6391.

What do I do if I lose my ATM or ATM/Debit card?
Notify Nexity immediately during Nexity business hours at 1-877-738-6391 and a Customer Service Representative will assist you. Nexity business hours are Monday - Friday 8 AM ET to 11 PM ET and weekends 9 AM ET to 6 PM ET. If you need to report your card lost or stolen and it is after business hours, please call
1-800-500-1044.

When and how will I receive my statements?
Statements can be viewed online at anytime, but you will receive your statement(s) within a few days after the end of the month. Statements include information on every Nexity account that you have. Click here for help in accessing your online statement.

How do I activate my ATM or ATM/Debit Card?
You must activate your Card at an ATM machine by making a balance inquiry or making a withdrawal.
